Sahiwal Board usually announces the date of exams in February. 9th class exams are conducted in the month of March. Total marks for the 9th class final exams are 550. By the Higher Education Department, Sahiwal Board is an autonomous body was established on 15 June 2012. Before its emergence, Sahiwal and Pakpattan operated under the supervision of BISE Multan. It is controlled by the Punjab Government. The function of the Sahiwal Board is to conduct exams in its jurisdiction which includes areas of Okara, Vehari and Pakpattan Districts. Both public and private institutions in these districts are affiliated with Sahiwal Board. Sahiwal Board also ensures the provision of medals, scholarships, and awards as well as laptops to deserving students.
